Wetterhorn Peak- fun on class 3!
A quick photo blog on our adventure up Wetterhorn Peak. We were camping in the San Juans, off of route 50, down Forest Service Road 860 (sort of near Silver Jack Reservoir). The Wetterhorn Basin trailhead was right down the road from our campsite, so we decided to do the 15ish mile hike up Wetterhorn.
Absolutely love your blog! Will be at USAFA with my son, and we are runners seeking to bag about 4 "runnable" peaks in the area. We can double by packing a tent. If you had to pick 4 top "peak experiences," what would they be? Advice much appreciated! You may email sparrish5@gmail.
